Help Us Make Alcohol Related Crashes A Thing Of The Past
Imagine getting a call, or answering the knock on your door one evening and being told by an Alaska State Trooper or Law Enforcement Officer that a member of your family has been killed in an alcohol related crash!
Imagine yourself attending your loved-one’s funeral service and then leaving the service without them, knowing you have seen them for the last time!
Now imagine getting involved with a project that will send ripples all across Alaska and stir a groundswell of support to stop impaired drivers!
Join Us in fighting the insanity of impaired driving! Show your support by participating in Forget Me Not Walk/Run on May 8, 2010 in Anchorage. There is also a walk/run in Juneau and Fairbanks on April 24th. These walk/runs will raise money and honor loved ones who died or were injured at the hands of an impaired driver!! You will be glad you did!!
Our goals are to help reduce the frequency of alcohol related crashes, eliminate underage drinking, assist victims of impaired driving crashes, and increase public awareness of the alcohol related crash problem we all face, every day.
Forget Me Not Mission has made contributions to the three major school districts; Anchorage, Fairbanks and the Mat-Su, to assist their Safe and Drug free Schools programs. All three districts have impressive and effective programs which are created and operated by the students! Their websites include powerful messages about the consequences of irresponsible behavior involving alcohol and drugs.
